I just spent 10 minutes in a 4 person event getting insulted for being a "noob". Funny thing, I've been playing since beta, just not every waking moment.
So picture this. You're a new player, you've finally got your CR up to get into some exciting new areas You then spend the next 3 hours being insulted and sometimes kicked within 20 seconds of entry. You can't advance cause no-one will give you more than 5 minutes. Bored, you leave and go to a game with a friendlier player base.. So to the trolls who just spent 10 minutes abusing me because they wanted a tank and got a healer Nice work, you're slowly killing your own game.
It costs nothing to be nice and in saying that I have received a very polite apology and explanation from some hardcore players before they kicked me.
