My very rough guess is that there are 1—3 million current and lapsed violinists worldwide, of whom —, are active learners. To put that into perspective, there are more people who play Zombies, Run! That is not a big market. And to get even 10, subscribers is a big ask. How do you even find people who are learning the violin? But maybe if the game was good enough, you could grow the market and create new learners, independent of violin teachers. In any case, it seems very difficult to make a sustainable business out of this, which is why orchestras rely on charity and government funding, rather than ticket sales, to stay afloat.
That might be the best route for a game like this. There is beauty in music of all kinds, including classic music. I believe classical music is one of the crowning accomplishments of civilization.
